FAQs
Why are we running a poster competition?
To help get the whole school community involved in raising money for the school, whilst saving containers from going to landfill.

What do we need tell people on the poster?
How to donate?: They can either drop containers to the Containers For Change bins at Joondalup Schools OR use one of the barcode tags (available in the school office) and scan this when you drop your containers to a Containers For Change collection center.
Why donate?: To raise money for the P&C to pay for school items like new nature play equipment and to help save the planet by reusing materials and stopping them going to landfill.
You don’t have to use these words - you can come up with your own creative and persuasive way to share these messages.

How big should the poster be?
A3, with a mix of words, images and colour.

When and where do the posters have to be submitted?
22nd April to your classroom teacher - so you have all school holidays to create your masterpiece. Teachers - please hand all entries to the office.

What are the prizes?
Two winners will be chosen - one from Kindy to Year 3 and one from Year 4 to Year 6. Both winners will receive 5 x FREE icy poles each! The winning posters will also be proudly displayed across the school and on the Containers For Change bins.

Where can I get more information about Containers For Change or the competition?
There are some flyers with these FAQs that you can look at to help you. You can also contact the P&C President, Lisa Gibb at contact@joondalupschoolspandc.org.au.
